Seed & Song Learning Co. is a nature-inspired homeschool learning program serving children ages 4–6 (Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade) in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

Seed & Song Learning Co. was created from a simple belief: childhood is meant to be treasured.
In a world that often asks children to grow up too quickly, we believe there is beauty in slowing down—making space for wonder, meaningful work, rich stories, muddy boots, thoughtful conversations, and the joy of discovering something new.
Our cottage schoolhouse is a place where early academics meet hands-on exploration, learning is rooted in relationships, and each child is known, encouraged, and celebrated for who they are.
Designed for homeschool families seeking both support and community, Seed & Song offers a gentle rhythm that blends intentional instruction with the freedom to explore, create, and grow.
Our Story
As both a state-certified educator and a homeschooling mom, I’ve experienced education from both sides of the classroom.
I’ve seen how powerful learning can be when children feel safe, known, and genuinely excited to explore the world around them. I’ve also met many families who long for the flexibility and values of homeschooling but wish they didn’t have to do it alone.
Seed & Song was born from that desire—to create a place where families could find support, children could build lasting friendships, and learning could remain joyful without sacrificing strong academic foundations.

Our Philosophy
At Seed & Song, we believe children learn best when they are actively engaged, encouraged to ask questions, and given opportunities to experience learning with both their hands and their hearts.
Our days weave together literacy, mathematics, science, nature study, art, music, and purposeful play into experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, confidence, and kindness.
We value slow mornings, meaningful conversations, beautiful books, outdoor exploration, and the understanding that childhood itself is worthy of protecting.

Hi, I’m Britnie.
I am a state-certified educator, homeschool mom, and the founder of Seed & Song Learning Co.
Teaching has always been more than a profession for me—it’s a calling. I love helping children discover the excitement of learning, watching their confidence grow, and creating spaces where they feel both challenged and deeply supported.
Whether we’re reading a beloved picture book, exploring patterns in nature, or celebrating a child’s newest accomplishment, my goal is to cultivate an environment where children develop not only academic skills, but also a lifelong love of learning.
