Week One Success

We finished our first week of classes last week, and it was so incredible!

We are in a new location, with a new routine, and the students did so amazing. In three short school days we covered a lot of ground and I’m looking forward to another great week this week!

A few things we did last week were:
Name molding practice with play dough
Name tracing
Identified Same vs. Different (size, shape, color)
Counted 1-20
Built patterns
Phonics practice
Read new books (always!)

Amongst quite a few other fun games and activities. On the surface, it seems like these masterminds are doing a lot of play, but in reality, we are laying the sturdy groundwork for some incredible skills for this year!
